Station 1846 breathes new life into a historic garage transformed into a vibrant co-working space, coffee shop, bar, and event venue. With storefront activation and façade updates, the project preserves the building’s architectural legacy while introducing modern amenities that foster community connection and attract visitors.
Station 1846 was recognized by receiving the 2025 Mayor’s Design Award for revitalizing Milwaukee’s commercial corridors by constructing or restoring their properties in a pedestrian-friendly way that activates the public realm, adds new housing or employment opportunities and contributes to the vibrancy and diversity of our commercial districts.
